What is it?
One off business grant for viable job creating projects. Grants are not always available throughout the year so it is always best to check by ringing the office.

Who can apply?
Any business meeting the scheme’s criteria.

Is my project eligible?
Your business must be based within HU1-HU9 postcodes. Your project must be realistic and viable. Grants cannot be used to repay past debts.

How much?
Grants are subject to a maximum of £5000 and will not exceed 50% of the cost of the eligible expenditure. However average grants paid can be considerably lower than this sum depending on the size of the Fund available from time to time and again it is best to make enquiries by ringing the office to avoid disappointment.

What for?
Grants are for capital expenditure in the main although under some circumstances working capital may be allowed. Support towards the cost of vehicles is not eligible.

How do I apply?

Forms are also available through our local partners Business link Humber and Hull Area Advice Centre both operating from the Chamber of Commerce offices on Beverley Road. Once completed forms can be emailed, faxed, posted or handed in to reception.

What happens next?
Your application will be evaluated by the Fund Manager. Generally applications can be dealt with within 24 hours if all relevant information is provided.
